The ex-husband knew when he married the mother that he was not the child's father but agreed to pay child support according to the divorce decree he signed. The Texas Family Code also provides circumstances under which a Texas court may proceed to modify a child-custody determination made by a court in another state. The Texas court had jurisdiction to make the modification. Affirmed in part.
